Biography:
Ashley is a graduate in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science with a concentration in health fitness. She is a certified Zumba 1, 2, & Gold Instructor who is also certified as: NASM CPT, Kettlebell and Spinning Instructor with a specialty in sports specific training. Her goal is to create an environment where clients of all ages, sizes, and fitness levels, have fun, feel challenged, increase self esteem, and build confidence all while improving their health. It is important to Ashley that her clients see results quickly. She understands both sides of the fitness world; being an athlete and working out for health and wellness. No matter what your goals are, Ashley will dedicate herself to your program making sure you receive optimum results and have fun!!
Ashley has worked at Duke University training the men and womenÕs basketball teams as well as working with the football and lacrosse teams. She was the assistant national camp director for ADIDAS in California training the top athletes in the country. A few of the honors Ashley has received are National Player of the Year, ESPN the Magazine Academic All American Player of the Year, and Two Time Kodak All American for basketball. Her goal is to teach Maine athletes the specifics of their sport, get them in the best shape physically, and mentally prepare them for the pressures of high school and college sports.
(Ashley assumed the title after Emily Johson resigned in January. She has surpassed Aureana Tseu's record for length of time between holding Teen & Miss titles... eleven years apart!)
